Quick Review: Breville Active Blender

Smoothie Juicing Blender Healthy

Juicing is currently one of the most popular ways  to get healthy, and it's easy to why as its a quick and effective way to get plenty of nutrient and, even better, they taste delicious! The Nutri Bullet is the blender of choice for most and it's been used by many bloggers but I needed something a little more budget friendly which is where the Breville Active Blender comes in!

The thing that attracted me to it was the price of £24, that's a quarter of the price of the Nutri Bullet! I was a bit suspicious as I couldn't understand why there was such a huge difference in price but after reading a few good reviews online I decided to purchase it!

So far I'm very impressed! It blends even hard vegetable like carrots into a smooth consistency within a few seconds! Each cup can make up to 600ml of smoothie, the screw on lid stops the drink from leaking, these cup where designed to be used when working out as they fit perfectly in your hand and there's a lip up cap and the lid so it's convenient so take a quick sip! The blade detaches from the machine so it's easy to clean., compared to some blenders it's quite small so it can easily be stored away.

I'm new to juicing but I'm quickly getting hooked! As I'm currently trying to develop a healthy lifestyle I'll soon share some of my favourite recipes that have worked well! What do you think to this juicing and smoothie craze? Are there any recipes you would recommend? Let me know below! :)

  1. I've never juiced, sadly, though I'm a huge fan of them, as well as fruits and vegetables. I need a juicer in my life ASAP, and this one sounds really good!

  2. Looks like a great product. I love juicing and was doing it for a while but sadly due to massive acid problems I am not allowed to juice anymore!

  8. When I make smoothies, I usually don't carry them around just cause I don't want to carry around the bottle once I'm finished. But this sounds like a great little machine!!! :)
