I can't believe it's June already! It's already time to start seriously thinking about what summer beauty and fashion you will be channelling, times moving too fast it wont be too long before we have to start buying stuff for winter!
I have a few things, both beauty and fashion, for my May favourites. Some of which I hope will help get me through the next few hot months!
To start off I'll share my fashion favourites!
I bought these Guess glasses last year, they were a bit pricey for me but definitely worth the investment as I'm still wearing them and they go with so many outfits! This might sound a bit stragne but they are really good at keeping the sun out, right now you might be thinking 'well yes Steph, that's what sunglasses do', the reason I've said this is because the glass on them is really dark. Sometimes I find that the tint on the lenses is so weak that it defeats the point of but not these ones!
I've been wanting a smart pair of flats for a while now and recently came across this pair from Kurt Geiger. They need to be worn in a bit more before I can wear them for a full day but that kind of expected of brand new shoes!
I love how elegant these look and they were only £30 which is pretty amazing for a pair of KG!
My last fashion fave is a recent DIY that I shared a few posts back. I've been loving the denim skirt trend and I think they are really versatile pieces so I decided to make my own! I've been able to create countless outfits with this which is great as I have a minimalist wardrobe.
Now onto beauty favourites! This month I've discovered something new as well as going back to an old favourite!
The old favourite being the Maybelline Gel Liner. I love this liner because it's easy to apply and lasts all day! I first bought this when my Bobbi Brown liner had dried out and didn't want to pay a high end price again, I've had this liner for several months and it still hasn't dried up! Its long lasting power makes it perfect for the summer months!
My last favourite of the month is a new discovery! I've been a massive fan The Body Shop Tea Tree toner for a while but now blemishes are no longer my main problem I thought I would try their Seaweed toner that tackles oiliness. So far I am very impressed! I've noticed a massive difference in my skin, I no longer have to re-powder throughout the day to keep my skin from looking shiny. Now that it's getting hotter this product will really be put to the test but I have high hopes for it!
I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you try out any of the things I talked about! What have your favourites of the month been? :)
